Mobile phone refers to a telephone that does not have wires. It works by radio. One can carry it with oneself and use it anywhere. It is a recent scientific invention. It has created coruscation all over the world. It is of great use to us. Besides communication with the people in distant places one can send message, know time-table, do calculation, play games and sports, hear songs and music, take snaps, be familiar with global culture by browsing internet with the help of mobile phone. And so its popularity is increasing day by day. One can communicate with one’s near and dear persons in distant place in the twinkling of an eye by using mobile phone. It saves one’s valuable time, energy and also money. One need not go to distant places to meet one’s favourite persons for the use of mobile phone. With its golden touch, the countries of the world are like families in a village. But the mobile phone has still some drawbacks in disguise. Though its price is gradually decreasing, per minute bill is not lessening. And so all cannot buy it. Scientists have recently discovered that mobile phone can cause cancer to the users. Besides, those who are terrorists use it at random and commit terrorist activities at large. Nevertheless, the importance of mobile phone in quick communication is very great.
মোবাইল ফোনের ব্যবহার এবং অপব্যবহার
মোবাইল ফোন এমন একটি টেলিফোনকে বোঝায় যেখানে তার নেই। এটি রেডিও দ্বারা কাজ করে। কেউ এটি নিজের সাথে বহন করতে পারে এবং যে কোন জায়গায় ব্যবহার করতে পারে। এটি একটি সাম্প্রতিক বৈজ্ঞানিক আবিষ্কার। এটি সারা বিশ্বে কোরাসকেশন তৈরি করেছে। এটা আমাদের অনেক কাজে লাগে। দূর-দূরান্তের মানুষের সাথে যোগাযোগের পাশাপাশি মোবাইল ফোনের সাহায্যে ইন্টারনেট ব্রাউজ করে বার্তা পাঠানো, সময়সূচী জানা, গণনা করা, খেলাধুলা করা, গান-বাজনা শোনা, ছবি তোলা, বিশ্ব সংস্কৃতির সাথে পরিচিত হতে পারে। আর তাই এর জনপ্রিয়তা দিন দিন বাড়ছে। মোবাইল ফোন ব্যবহার করে চোখের পলকে দূরের কাছের মানুষদের সাথে যোগাযোগ করা যায়। এটি একজনের মূল্যবান সময়, শক্তি এবং অর্থও বাঁচায়। মোবাইল ফোন ব্যবহারের জন্য পছন্দের মানুষের সাথে দেখা করতে দূরবর্তী স্থানে যেতে হবে না। এর সোনালি ছোঁয়ায় পৃথিবীর দেশগুলো যেন গ্রামের পরিবারের মতো। কিন্তু মোবাইল ফোনের ছদ্মবেশে এখনও কিছু ত্রুটি রয়েছে। ধীরে ধীরে এর দাম কমলেও প্রতি মিনিটের বিল কমছে না। আর তাই সবাই এটা কিনতে পারে না। বিজ্ঞানীরা সম্প্রতি আবিষ্কার করেছেন যে মোবাইল ফোন ব্যবহারকারীদের ক্যান্সার হতে পারে। এছাড়া যারা সন্ত্রাসী তারা এলোপাতাড়ি ব্যবহার করে এবং ব্যাপক সন্ত্রাসী কর্মকাণ্ড করে। তা সত্ত্বেও দ্রুত যোগাযোগের ক্ষেত্রে মোবাইল ফোনের গুরুত্ব অনেক বেশি।
